  1. Lack of insurance may not kill people, but it can definitely help those who are currently jobless or those who are too old to work and those who live on nothing but disablity. Some insurance companies shoulder their client's medication and other medical needs, even offering as much as 80% of the cost of some medical equipments that can help save lives of senior citizens. When someone says that 5 out of 6 people who die are those with health insurance, that's just being a bit naive. Since when did health insurance companies assure longer lives? That just doesn't make any sense.
